For ages I have been wanting to write tutorials for my website. But where should I begin and what should or should I not include? Can I expect that my site visitors already have somewhat of an experience or should I start from scratch and add basic tutorials like how to install certain software and how to use it?
The thing is that writing tutorials is SO much work, especially if you want to do it right. Which of course I want, but I’m usually to lazy to get the job done.
Anyhow, let me know what you think and what kind of tutorials you would like to see.
Tutorials I’ll offer:
Paint Shop Pro
I also MIGHT offer video editing tutorials in the future, but I’m not sure about that yet as I still don’t know how various software works myself.
Having that said I wish you a wonderful day or evening depending on where in the world you are.
Lately I have been wanting to get back into the Imageready ballgame. I had enjoyed myself so much all these years ago that I decided to dust off my old version of Photoshop CS2 and Imageready. The newer versions of Photoshop come without imageready and I’m not ready to learn a trick I already know in another manner.
This is what I came up with:
A Disturbed icon and a NCIS Signature
I just live for Mark’s “then and now pictures”. Usually they consist of pictures of him from when he was a young adult to now. But when I watched a youtube the other week, I felt like I needed to make this then and now comparison. It is just too stinkin’ cute! Click image for original size.
I’m at home with a burnout at the moment and this gives me the opportunity to watch NCIS from the beginning in all its glory. In one of the episodes of season one, Gibbs fell asleep under his boat and was woken up by Tony calling him on the phone. That sleepyhead of his was just SO adorable. It was too adorable not to share. and creating something of Mark is any girls w… DREAM, amirite? lol. Jeri, one of the friends I have made through my Charming Harmon facebook group, had been wanting to learn how to use Paint Shop Pro for like ages. Just a couple of days ago she took the plunge and bought PSP 2018. It looks quite different from the version I use (PSP X7), but in the end it all worked basically the same.
So I walked her through some fairly easy steps and we came up with this:
This is Jeri’s version:
and this is my version:
Not bad overall, right? I was pretty proud of what my friend accomplished with zero knowlegde of any graphic software.
I know, I know… I’m 4 days or so late, But this one is coming straight from the hart. Happy belated birthday Micha! I hope you’ll have many, many happy returns and that you like the card I made for you!
Since I’m a very creative person (or so I’d like to think anyways) I’m always trying new stuff. Today I want to share a videotutorial with you about blending with coloured pencils. Since last saturday I’m the proud owner of a magnificent full set of Derwent Coloursoft pencils and I’m having a blast watching youtube tutorials and trying things out. It seems only fair that I share the video’s that work best for me with you as well.
Featuring today is a video made by Pencilstash, about 6 different blending techniques, She teaches in a very calm manner and has a nice voice to listen to. Note: You can blend with any kind of colored pencil, even the cheap ones! It just takes time, patience ad a LOT of practise.
Not much exciting has been going on on this blog for a while now. That is all because I’m working extra shifts, and it doesn’t seem to slow down for the next two to three months. It is what it is, lol. I have been working on a crochet blanket and on some sort of memory book for my boyfriend who lives in America, so I have been creative :D.
